Insurance & Other Funding Options

What insurance providers are you in-network with for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services?

ABLG is pleased to be in-network for ABA services with the following providers:

How are ABA services typically funded?

ABLG offers three main options for ABA services.

  • In-network insurance services. Many families will opt to receive services for their child using an insurance-funded model. Under the NJ State Mandate, ABLG works with many insurance companies (see above) to provide home programming, parent training, social skills groups, and other ABA services. Please note that insurance companies will require a diagnosis of autism in order to qualify for insurance-funded ABA services.

  • Out-of-network services. When using this method of funding, families would pay for the cost of services to ABLG up front and then seek attempt to seek reimbursement through their insurance company. ABLG will make every effort to provide you with the necessary documentation to support this process and while reimbursement is often possible it cannot be guaranteed.

  • Private pay. When using this method of funding, families pay for the cost of ABA services without expectation of reimbursement from an insurance company.

How do insurance-based services work for ABA?

Please view the following video on the insurance process including information on topics such as co-pays, deductibles, and out-of-pocket expenses.

How are speech and language services typically funded?

ABLG offers two options for speech therapy services at this time.

  • Out-of-network insurance services.

When using this method of funding, families pay for the cost of speech therapy services without expectation of reimbursement from an insurance company.

Can my school district fund my child's services?

ABLG is an NJ DOE-approved agency. It may be possible for your school district to fund either daytime or after-school ABA services or after-school speech services. Please email therapy@ablg.org to discuss this option in more detail.
